A leading company in facility management is seeking a Security Supervisor to ensure the safety of guests and properties. Responsibilities include monitoring security staff, responding to incidents, and liaising with emergency services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a high school diploma, and significant experience in a supervisory role.
Duties & Responsibilities: |
Ø Responsibilities to have the best interest in taking full care and protection of lives & property of the organization at the peak.
Ø Maintain the highest level of guest care at all times by taking ownership of every complaint & request from guests, resolving them correctly and promptly.
Ø Assist the manager in planning, coordinating, and directing security and safety programs, including loss prevention, parking/traffic control, and patrolling of physical property.
Ø Conduct follow-up investigations of reports of criminal activities and violations of safety standards.
Ø Investigate all incidents on the property, prepare reports accordingly, and provide feedback to the Security Manager.
Ø Investigate lost and found issues, review incident reports, and submit final reports to the Security Manager.
Ø Monitor security officers to enforce security/safety programs that enable the company’s assets to function according to guidelines, quality standards, and operating objectives.
Ø Liaise with emergency services, police, ambulance, and fire services to resolve issues and maintain security and service.
Ø Identify unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards; ensure emergency exits are always clear.
Ø Play a key role during fire drill exercises.
Ø Prepare duty rosters, timesheets, and follow up.
Ø Resolve conflicts among security staff.
Ø Comply with governmental legislation regarding training and licensing.
Ø Follow emergency procedures to ensure the security and safety of guests and employees.
Ø Work safely to avoid harm or injury to oneself or others.
Ø Anticipate potential hazards and notify the Security Manager.
Ø Be responsible for security duties in the absence of the Security Manager.
Ø Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and superiors.
Ø Handle difficult situations effectively.
Ø Attend meetings and training as required by management.
Ø Be flexible with planned work schedules to provide uninterrupted service to zoo guests.
Ø Continuously strive for professionalism in job performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
· High School Diploma preferred.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security, facility management, or a similar supervisory role.
Skills:
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in emergency situations.
· Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, alarm systems, access control).
· Knowledge of building systems and basic maintenance procedures.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
