Job description

Manages a team of external company security colleagues, including their daily attendance, grooming, coaching, appraisals, and personal development plans.

Compiles duty schedules for their area on a monthly basis, ensuring that annual leave plans support operational readiness and provide sufficient time off for colleagues.

Plans, books, and delivers on- and off-job training as required to ensure high service standards and security colleague development.

Communicates appropriate and useful information through various channels, including department meetings and briefings.

Motivates colleagues through effective implementation of incentive, recognition, and rewards programs.

Ensures departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards are implemented and maintained throughout their area.

Reviews and updates departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure high levels of customer service, proposing changes as needed.

Addresses service delivery defects, identifies trends, and shares observations and suggestions with their manager.

Reviews satisfaction results for their areas, identifying trends and sharing insights with their manager.

Ensures accuracy of checklists and records, analyzing data for improvements.

Ensures their area meets financial targets by tracking expenditures and revenue, taking corrective actions as needed.

Coordinates inventory and stock take activities, maintaining sufficient stock and reducing loss/wastage.

Participates in daily operations, setting a positive example alongside colleagues.

Responds to security breaches, incidents, and emergencies, taking corrective actions, and ensuring proper investigation, recording, and reporting.

Ensures criminal activities do not disrupt organizational operations.

Monitors security system performance (CCTV, FACP, Access Control, etc.) and reports irregularities.

Oversees daily security operations.

Liaises with authorities (Police, Civil Defense) for communication and relationship building.

Interviews security colleagues prior to assignment in the leisure facility from the security service provider.

Coordinates with the security service provider regarding operational requirements.

Enforces adherence to UAE laws, health, safety, environmental policies, and company rules, reporting safety concerns or incidents.

Manages emergency situations to minimize damage, loss, or injury.

Communicates relevant information to colleagues to improve internal communication.

Coaches, disciplines, and provides constructive feedback to motivate and improve performance.

Ensures colleagues abide by rules and safety measures at all times.

Prepares the leisure facility for operations, ensuring safety and readiness.

Ensures the facility is clear of guests and gates are locked after hours.

Schedules and conducts inventory of equipment/assets, reporting irregularities.

Participates in company communications, such as briefs and meetings.

Conducts rounds and reports irregularities.

Assists VIP guests and reports to management as needed.

Conducts departmental training if required.

Performs random spot checks with relevant departments.

Handles lost and found property, ensuring its safekeeping and proper disposal.

Maintains effective communication with other departments.

Prepares and forwards daily security reports to the line manager.

Essential Qualifications:
