GEMS Royal Dubai School invites a Librarian to lead the secondary school library starting January 2027. You will promote reading, support teaching and independent study, and create an inclusive, engaging library environment.

Responsibilities include cataloguing, circulation, subscriptions, and liaising with departments to source topic-related books while ensuring ICT equipment is well maintained.

Qualificações

• Qualifications in librarianship or Library Science.
• At least one year's experience in a library in an educational setting.
• Able to work effectively with students and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students to borrow and find books based on reading level and interest.
• Catalog all books and manage library records and subscriptions.
• Maintain ICT equipment and library space to be welcoming and well lit.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department for book orders and renewals.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to school library programs.
