Job summary

Client of Edvectus seeks an urgent Teacher for the British-curriculum school in Dubai to join a diverse international team. The role covers Secondary Female PE and related subjects, with an emphasis on safeguarding, well-being, and engaging classroom practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent teaching experience.
• Experience teaching the relevant age group and subject.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.
• Good understanding of assessment, differentiation and effective teaching strategies.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging and well-managed classroom environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding and pastoral care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an experienced international teaching team.
• Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
• International teaching experience and previous UAE experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with IGCSE, A Level or Sixth Form teaching would be advantageous for relevant secondary positions.
