Teaching Nomad partners with a private English-medium K-12 school in Abu Dhabi delivering an American curriculum within UAE requirements. They seek Kindergarten to High School teachers with strong classroom management and a track record in the American system.

Salary is 12,000–14,000 AED monthly on a 3-year renewable contract, with furnished housing or a 50K AED housing allowance, annual airfare, and visa support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Education for Kindergarten and Primary teaching.
• Bachelor in a subject field or Education with specialization for Middle/High.

About the schools

Established in 2014, our client has been very well received within the local community and is quickly expanding to a full K-12 school. They offer an American curriculum program within the framework of traditional Islamic values catering to primary Emirati students.. The school is committed to providing every student with the opportunity to achieve educational success.

They follow the U.S. common core curriculum for English and Math, next generation science standards and the Virginia Curriculum for all other subjects. This is complemented with full provision for lessons in Arabic, Islamic studies (for Muslim students) and UAE Social Studies to meet local education requirements.

The school offers a well-rounded range of facilities including libraries, computer suites, gymnasium, art rooms, science laboratories, media rooms, sports field, audio & video recording studios.

Our client is looking for teachers that want a challenge and want to develop themselves as an educator. They need teachers with strong classroom management skills and determination to get through to students that need extra support.

Based in Abu Dhabi and located near the International Airport (about 30 minutes from the Abu Dhabi city Beach). Faculty housing is provided about 20 minutes away with free (optional) transportation provided.

About you

• Kindergarten & Primary teachers must hold a Bachelor in Education
  
• Middle & High teachers must hold Bachelors in subject being taught or Education with specialization in subject
  
• Experience teaching American curriculum required

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the same subject that matches your qualification (must provide reference letter)
  
• Under 60 years old due to visa requirements
