What We re Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who can demonstrate:
Strong Subject Knowledge: Expertise in Secondary Maths, with a thorough understanding of the curriculum and its application at A-Level.
Engaging Learning Environment: The ability to create a stimulating and interactive classroom that motivates and excites students about learning.
Awareness of UK Educational Initiatives: Experience with current developments in UK education, including best practices and curriculum changes.
Commitment to Excellence: A passion for teaching, with a strong drive to help students reach their full potential and maintain the highest standards.
Fostering 21st Century Skills: An ability to promote creative thinking and the development of key skills, preparing students for success in a rapidly changing world.
Tech-Savvy Teaching: Confidence in integrating technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences and support student development.
Data-Driven Approach: Experience in using assessments and data to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide tailored support.
Inspiring a Love for Learning: A genuine enthusiasm for encouraging curiosity and a love of learning in students, not just in Maths but across subjects.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must be fluent English speakers, hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and have a minimum of 2 years experience teaching in schools that follow the National Curriculum of England.
Proven ability to teach across A-Level Maths
Experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students is desirable but not essential.
