Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Technical Assurance Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead second-line technical security assurance across infrastructure, applications and cloud. You will own the risk-based assurance plan, test control design and operating effectiveness, and coordinate with Cyber Defense, Risk and Internal Audit to ensure audit-ready evidence.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in second-line technical assurance across infrastructure, applications, databases, cloud and networks.
• Strong knowledge of control design and operating-effectiveness assessment.
• Working knowledge of major information security frameworks.
• Strong risk assessment, evidence evaluation, documentation and executive reporting skills.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in information security or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a risk-based annual assurance plan.
• Maintain the assurance universe and prioritize reviews.
• Independently test control design, implementation, compliance and operating effectiveness.
• Own assurance methodologies, test scripts and evidence standards.
• Operate assurance tools and expand automated monitoring.
• Assess findings and align ratings with the Enterprise Risk Framework.
• Lead second-line assurance for regulatory obligations and maintain traceability.
• Define and govern threat-informed Red Team exercises and validate controls.
• Use penetration-testing and vulnerability results as assurance evidence.
• Assure cyber resilience, recovery integrity and resilience-testing evidence.
• Assess AI/ML technologies for security including data protection and monitoring.
• Own the finding lifecycle from evidence validation to closure.
• Provide assurance validation to projects and technology change.
• Support inspections and audits with audit-ready evidence.
• Coordinate with Cyber Defense, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.
• Manage and develop the Technical Assurance team.
