Job summary

Thales AMS in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Scrum Master to lead two stream-aligned teams, safeguarding agile practices, removing impediments, and coaching the Product Owner to refine the backlog.

You will drive ceremonies, visualize workflow, measure KPIs, and ensure Jira data is up-to-date, enabling transparent planning and continuous improvement in a fast-paced defense and digital aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Scrum Master across multiple development teams.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc.
• Familiar with Management 3.0, NVC (Nonviolent Communication), Lean.
• Experience using Jira, Miro, Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Support the team delivery.
• Facilitate team events ensuring they are positive and time-boxed.
• Mitigate/remove impediments and dependencies.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog management.
• Coach the Product Owner in refining and prioritizing the backlog.
• Improve flow of value and visualise work to optimise processes.
• Create a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
