Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, a B.Ed., and minimum 2 years of UAE teaching experience in a coordination role. The role emphasizes academic leadership and mentoring of teachers, contributing to high teaching standards and strong scientific thinking among students.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of UAE teaching experience in a similar coordination role.
• Prior experience in British curriculum schools highly preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science and academic leadership capability essential.
• Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to mentor teachers and improve departmental teaching standards.
• Candidate available for immediate joining strongly preferred.
• Candidates without UAE teaching experience should not apply.
• Strong commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of Science curriculum delivery across assigned grade levels.
• Support Science teachers in improving lesson planning, classroom teaching methods, and student engagement strategies.
• Monitor academic progress and implement improvement plans to raise student achievement.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to teaching staff.
• Ensure lesson delivery aligns with British curriculum standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support school improvement plans.
