Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Principal to lead and manage our educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in a school environment, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a school accredited by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). Our school is proud to be the first school in the region to receive accreditation from (WASC), highlighting our commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of our students, staff, and the broader school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the school's operations, ensuring high standards of academic performance, student wellbeing, and staff development.
  • Develop and implement the school's vision, mission, and strategic goals in alignment with ADEK regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the curriculum, teaching methods, and assessment processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Manage and support a diverse team of teaching and administrative staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with ADEK policies and regulations, including reporting and documentation requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community to enhance the school’s reputation and achieve its educational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the school's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to address them.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
  • Manage the school's budget and resources efficiently, ensuring financial sustainability and the effective use of resources.
  • Lead the school’s initiatives on student welfare, discipline, and extra-curricular activities.

Specific qualifications required for this role:

  • A Master's degree in Education, School Leadership, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in a school environment, with a strong focus on academic excellence and staff development.
  • Adequate experience working within an ADEK-accredited school or familiarity with ADEK standards and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop staff.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • High level of commitment to fostering student success, well-being, and development.
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
