Job summary

Aldar Education LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned finance professional to oversee Accounts Receivable and support budgeting and monthly closings. The role focuses on accurate invoicing for tuition, exams, trips, and other charges, with daily collections and reconciliation duties.

The candidate should have a degree in accounting and 5+ years of experience in finance, or 2+ years with a professional qualification, along with strong accounting software skills and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years in finance, or 2+ years in similar role with professional qualification.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge; proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Accounts Receivable GL accounts are accurate and collect within due date.
• Support HQ finance to close the period accurately and timely; review monthly MIS with Principal.
• Manage invoicing for tuition, exam fees, trips and other charges with timely timelines.
• Call parents daily to follow up on payments and issue receipts for bank reconciliation.
• Coordinate with HQ finance for annual budget and strategic plan preparations.
• Support monthly closing activities and reporting requirements.
