School Counselor required for an immediate start

The English College, Dubai, seeks a positive, reflective and inspiring School Counselor to work across the Whole School for an immediate start. The successful candidate will have a growth mindset and high expectations of all staff and students. They will be open and willing to learn; they will be expected to engage in professional learning with the mindset that everyone can always improve. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about encouraging students to grow and develop holistically - academically, emotionally, physically and socially.

The successful candidate for the school counselor role will be enthusiastic, highly qualified, and committed, with a proven track record of excellence in counseling. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate, creative approach to supporting students’ emotional and mental health, helping them navigate personal challenges, develop resilience, and foster well-being. Experience in individual and group counseling is essential. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting the emotional and social development of all students. Additionally, experience in implementing well-being strategies across the whole school would be an added advantage. The counselor will be committed to providing a safe space for students, helping them manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges, ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive.
