Key Requirements

• Master's degree in School Counselling, Child Psychology, or related field
• Professional certification/license in counselling or psychology
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a counsellor with primary-aged children
• Experience in developing and implementing social-emotional learning programs
• Knowledge of various counselling approaches appropriate for primary students
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate interventions
• Experience in conducting individual and group counselling sessions
• Strong communication skills for working with children, parents, and staff
• Knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding practices
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Ability to assess student needs and develop appropriate support strategies
