Job summary

English College Dubai LLC is seeking a dedicated Bus Monitor to supervise pupils on all school transport and ensure their safety, wellbeing, and comfort during journeys.

You will register students during pick-up and drop-off, maintain attendance records, report safeguarding concerns, and work with staff and parents to promote orderly conduct and a safe travel environment. The role also covers cleaning duties and ISP safeguarding commitments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during all bus journeys, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and comfort.
• Accurately register students during pick-up and drop-off with up-to-date attendance records.
• Promote high standards of behaviour on the bus and manage pupil conduct positively.
• Report safeguarding issues and transport-related matters promptly to the Transport Officer.
• Maintain records in the School Management System, including transport registrations and student data.
• Assist with planning for emergency transport where required and support staff and parents for a safe transport experience.
• Apply first aid where necessary and safeguard students, staff, equipment, and facilities.
