Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to project scheduling and monitoring.
- Lead the preparation of high-level pre-construction and construction schedules, in collaboration with project teams.
- Develop project cashflows, linking them to scheduling forecasts and critical path analysis.
- Review and validate project schedules developed by PMC/EOR teams, ensuring realistic and achievable timelines.
- Provide support during project feasibility and planning phases with schedule inputs and assumptions.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules through regular updates and follow-ups.
- Create reporting templates and generate schedule adherence reports across the project portfolio.
- Identify and escalate schedule deviations to senior leadership and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate mitigation plans for schedule risks and collaborate with internal/external teams to resolve delays.
- Support teams in identifying improvement areas, risk hotspots, and capacity gaps.
- Work closely with the Cost Control team to assess the budget impact of any schedule changes.
- Evaluate the time impact of variation orders and integrate them into revised project plans.
- Contribute to the development of project cashflow models by aligning forecasted costs with the project schedule.
- Assist the Contracts team with claims evaluation and delay analysis when necessary.
- Provide regular progress reports and insights to senior management, including potential risks and their mitigations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management.
- 8–12 years of experience in scheduling, planning, or project control in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of project schedule management, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling tools.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle, construction workflows, and contractual timelines.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to foresee and manage delays and risks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with cashflow modeling and schedule impact analysis preferred.
- Familiarity with claims assessment, extension of time (EoT), and project variation processes is a plus.
