Job summary

NMDC Energy in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced supervisor for NPCC construction projects. The role oversees Foremen, Charge Hands and Artisans, ensuring safety, quality and timely completion of discipline-specific activities.

You will develop daily to monthly work plans, monitor performance, prepare reports for senior staff and mentor junior colleagues, providing remedial training as needed to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate with discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant Oil & Gas industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide and monitor Foremen involved in discipline-specific activities for NPCC construction.
• Projects could be located on sites within the Operations function.
• Supervise discipline-specific activities of Charge Hands and Artisans, ensuring safety, standards and timely completion.
• Develop daily, weekly and monthly work plans, organize crews, allocate duties and monitor performance to meet deadlines.
• Prepare reports on work undertaken for consideration by senior colleagues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems in welding, painting and commissioning with technical Solutions.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues in job methodology and provide remedial on-site training to reduce risk.
