Job summary

Star Services LLC is seeking a Scaffolding Technician to be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and supporting scaffolding activities in offshore Oil & Gas environments. This role requires ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective scaffolding practices.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in scaffolding, particularly in live operating plant environments. A Technical Diploma and valid Scaffolding Inspector certificate are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant practical experience in scaffolding activities.
• Experience in Oil & Gas live operating plant environments is mandatory.
• Gulf/Offshore experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of erected scaffolding.
• Perform pre-use and post-modification inspections.
• Identify unsafe conditions and initiate corrective actions.
• Issue and maintain scaffolding tags and inspection certificates.
• Support scaffolding erection and dismantling activities.
• Provide basic scaffold design inputs and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with HSEMS policies.
• Coordinate with site teams and supervisors.

• Working Hours: 06:30 AM to 06:30 PM (1-hour lunch break), 7 days a week

Job Summary

Responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and supporting scaffolding activities in offshore Oil & Gas plant environments to ensure safe erection, modification, dismantling, and compliance with approved specifications and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of erected scaffolding to ensure structural stability, safety, and compliance with site requirements.
• Perform pre-use and post-modification inspections of scaffolding systems.
• Identify unsafe conditions, hazards, and non-compliance issues, and initiate corrective actions.
• Issue and maintain scaffolding tags and inspection certificates as per site procedures.
• Support scaffolding erection and dismantling activities to ensure safe working practices.
• Provide basic scaffold design inputs, calculations, and drawings for complex scaffold requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSEMS policies and Oil & Gas safety standards in live operating plant environments.
• Coordinate with site teams and supervisors for safe scaffolding operations.
