Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in scaffolding inspection and safety activities.
• Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering, Construction, Industrial Safety, or related field.
• Preferred advanced scaffolding/safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect scaffolding structures before use and during service to verify safety and operating conditions.
• Assess risks and identify unsafe conditions, defects, improper erection, or inadequate access arrangements.
• Review scaffold parameters before granting authorization for scaffold use.
• Verify scaffolding components, foundations, bracing, ties, platforms, guardrails, access points, and load conditions.
• Ensure erection, modification, dismantling, and usage comply with safety requirements.
• Maintain inspection records, findings, corrective-action requirements, and scaffold status documentation.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, scaffolders, safety personnel, and maintenance teams to resolve inspection observations.
