Job summary

Client of Careers International is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Design Engineer in Dubai to craft safe, cost-effective scaffolding solutions for construction and interior fit-out projects. You will design layouts, perform calculations, and ensure regulatory compliance, collaborating with engineers and site teams to optimize performance.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural engineering degree with 3–5 years of scaffolding design experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of Scaffolding Design Engineer experience.
• Experience in Construction & Interior Fit-Out projects.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, design principles, and calculations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related design tools.
• Familiar with scaffolding safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC experience is a plus.
• Available in UAE and able to join quickly.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Scaffolding Design Engineer with strong experience in the Construction and Interior Fit-Out industry The candidate will be responsible for designing safe practical and cost-effective scaffolding solutions based on project requirements and site conditions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and prepare scaffolding layouts drawings and technical calculations
• Develop safe and efficient scaffolding solutions for construction and fit-out projects
• Review project requirements site conditions and structural requirements before preparing designs
• Prepare scaffolding design drawings material requirements and specifications
• Ensure all scaffolding designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Coordinate with project engineers site teams consultants and scaffolding supervisors
• Provide technical support for scaffolding installation modification and dismantling
• Conduct site visits when required to assess scaffolding requirements and feasibility
• Review and approve scaffolding designs based on project and safety requirements
• Identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering .
• Minimum 3u20135 years of experience as a Scaffolding Design Engineer.
• Mandatory experience in Construction & Interior Fit-Out projects .
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, design principles, and structural calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design/software tools.
• Good understanding of scaffolding safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.
• Preferred: Candidates currently available in the UAE and able to join immediately or within a short notice period.
