Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot SCADA systems, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity across the operational network. You will perform routine system checks, implement upgrades, configure RTUs, PLCs, and HMIs, and develop comprehensive documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Eng, CS, or related field, 3+ years SCADA experience, PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), and familiarity with Wonderware or GE

Qualifications

• Holds relevant certifications such as ISA CAP or equivalent, demonstrating expertise.
• Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in the SCADA industry, showcasing hands-on experience and industry knowledge.
• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a strong foundation is key.
• Demonstrates proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), a fundamental skill for the role.
• Exhibits strong knowledge of SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE iFIX), a key requirement.
• Displays excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, able to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Shows experience with networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP, crucial for system communication).
• Possesses effective communication skills, able to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and making informed decisions.
