The role involves supporting, maintaining, and developing information systems to meet operational, data, and information security objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- System monitoring and periodic health checks of SAS AML system.
- Handling SAS AML incidents and providing root cause analysis (RCA).
- Knowledge of SAS AML automation, including machine learning and scenario fine-tuning tools.
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Participating in effort estimation and delivery planning.
- Designing and developing applications in accordance with functional specifications and assessing system performance.
- Preparing documentation such as SDDs and writing unit and integration test cases.
- Prototyping and researching alternative implementation strategies.
- Coding according to program specifications.
- Monitoring module development as per plan and SLAs.
- Performing unit tests and supporting acceptance testing, implementation, and training.
- Ensuring quality standards in module delivery and preparing production transfer documentation.
- Conducting root cause analysis for production system disruptions and gathering logs for investigation.
- Adhering to service call SLAs and coordinating with vendors for issue resolution.
- Documenting test results, program specifications, and technical architecture.
- Deploying bug fixes, performing SIT, and maintaining existing code base.
- Ensuring application stability and aligning solutions with architecture standards.
- Implementing change management processes for all change deliverables.
Working Relationships:
- Member of the development/implementation team, including offshore members.
- Interaction with team members and other functional teams.
- Participation in shadowing and training activities.
- Adherence to information security and change management procedures.
- Providing administrative support, reviewing code, and supporting defect investigations.
Skill Set:
- Mandatory: SAS AML 7.1 programming (BASE and Advanced SAS), SAS EG, Oracle PL/SQL.
- Preferable: SAS DI, SAS VA.
- Basic Linux knowledge.
- Experience with SAS application support, configuration, and user management.
- Optional: Data warehouse/ETL SQL, Dunning and Month-end processes.
- Strong understanding of software development methods, UNIX OS, scripting languages, and development tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multiple projects.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
