Job summary

Gibraltar Technologies LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled SAS Administrator Kubernetes Operations Engineer to manage and optimize SAS Viya/SAS 9 environments running on Kubernetes, on-prem or cloud. You will administer, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot SAS platforms within containerized infrastructure.

The role also supports SAS ETL operations to ensure smooth data pipelines, with responsibilities spanning performance tuning, backups, disaster recovery, and collaborating with data engineering

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of SAS Administration experience with Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Strong working knowledge of SAS Viya 3.x/4.x and SAS 9.4 architecture and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, kubectl, Helm, namespaces, RBAC, networking, storage.

Responsibilities

• Administer SAS Viya/SAS 9 environments on Kubernetes clusters (on-prem or cloud).
• Monitor system health, resource usage, and perform tuning and troubleshooting of SAS environments.
• Manage SAS-related deployments, licensing, backups, and disaster recovery.
