Job summary

Azizi Developments, a leading UAE real estate developer, seeks an SAP PS expert to drive project structuring, budgeting, and procurement planning within SAP PS/MM integration. The role requires coordinating with FI/CO/SD for accurate billing and revenue recognition, and implementing earned value management to monitor project health.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 full lifecycle SAP PS implementations, preferably with SAP S/4HANA exposure and a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 full-lifecycle SAP PS implementations, with frequent SAP S/4HANA exposure.
• SAP PS certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Configure WBS, networks, milestones and templates for construction lifecycles.
• Set up project budgets, releases and cost planning with CAPEX/OPEX tracking.
• Manage capacity, procurement and resource allocation with SAP PS MM integration.
• Align PS with FI, CO and SD for project billing and revenue recognition.
• Implement Progress Analysis (EVM) and Results Analysis to monitor project health.

Core Responsibilities

• Project Structuring: Configure WBS, Network/Sub-networks, Milestones, and standard project templates tailored to construction lifecycles.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Set up project budgets, releases, and cost planning while ensuring accurate CAPEX/OPEX tracking and settlements.
• Resource & Material Planning: Manage capacity, project-specific procurement, and resource allocation using SAP PS integration with Material Management (MM).
• Cross-Module Integration: Align PS with FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling - specifically Results Analysis and Profitability Analysis), and SD (Sales and Distribution) for accurate project billing and revenue recognition.
• Progress Tracking: Implement Progress Analysis (EVM - Earned Value Management) and Results Analysis to monitor project health.

Key Requirements

• Domain Experience: Strong understanding of the Construction or EPC industry, specifically regarding heavy infrastructure, commercial, or oil & gas projects.
• Implementation Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 full-lifecycle end-to-end SAP PS implementations, frequently requiring SAP S/4HANA exposure.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: SAP Project System (PS) certification is highly desired.
