Etihad Airways is seeking a Product Manager responsible for managing the product development process from strategy to launch. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in product management, particularly in designing high-quality software products. They will work collaboratively with various teams to define product vision and ensure customer-centric development practices. The role requires a strong understanding of market needs and agile methodologies, aimed at enhancing product offerings aligned with the airline's strategic goals.
The Product Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end product development process from defining desirable, feasible, viable and sustainable products to launching them and ensuring they continuously meet customers’ needs. This role will own the strategy, vision and roadmap for products within the value stream. They will support the Release Train Engineers in delivering value to customers.This role will have a customer-centric mindset and act as the internal representative of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. They will leverage market and customer research to continuously understand market and customer needs.
Accountabilities
Support the flow of work through the portfolio Kanban and into the product backlog
Participate in the daily scrums, sprint planning meetings and sprint reviews and retrospectives
Facilitate regular system demos, ensure the most critical aspects are shown to the stakeholders for review and approval
Responsible for regular progress updates, managing dependencies, risks and issues, escalating to the Senior Product Manager and Release Train Engineer where required
