Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks an experienced SAP QA Manager to lead the quality assurance function for SAP implementation and support activities. The QA Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee all QA processes across SAP modules.

You will manage QA analysts, collaborate with SAP functional, technical, and BASIS teams, drive test design and execution, defect management, and governance to ensure compliant, high-quality SAP solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in QA roles, including 3+ years in a managerial or lead position.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points.
• Hands-on experience with SAP testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification preferred.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Selenium) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• QA Strategy & Planning: Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and procedures specific to SAP projects.
• Team Leadership & Management: Lead a team of QA analysts and testers; coordinate with SAP functional, technical, and BASIS teams.
• Test Management: Oversee unit, integration, UAT, regression, and performance testing; manage SAP test tools; ensure documentation and traceability.
• Defect & Risk Management: Monitor defect status; prioritize resolution; identify QA-related risks.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure SAP changes meet SOX, GxP; support audits with QA documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive QA practice improvements, automation, and staying updated on SAP upgrades.

Title: SAP QA Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead the quality assurance function for our SAP implementation and support activities. The QA Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all quality assurance processes, including test planning, test execution, defect management, and quality governance across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• QA Strategy & Planning
  • Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and procedures specific to SAP projects.
  • Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
  • Establish quality metrics and KPIs for SAP systems and ensure compliance.
• Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead a team of QA analysts and testers (internal and/or external).
  • Coordinate with SAP functional, technical, and BASIS teams for test planning and issue resolution.
  • Provide mentorship and training on SAP QA best practices.
• Test Management
  • Oversee all test phases: unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and performance testing.
  • Manage SAP test tools such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, Tricentis Tosca, or similar.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of test cases and results.
• Defect & Risk Management
  • Monitor, track, and report on defect status.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to prioritize defect resolution.
  • Identify and mitigate QA-related risks.
• Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure SAP system changes meet internal and external compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GxP).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required QA documentation.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Drive improvements in QA practices, automation, and efficiency.
  • Keep current with SAP upgrades, patches, and emerging QA tools and techniques.
