Job description

The Project Manager has the primary responsibility to manage the profitable and effective deployment of SAP solutions to our clients through the application of SAP technology, services, and methodologies. The Project Manager is the management focal point between the customer, strategic partners, and SAP during the implementation and support of SAP global, multi-site, and multi-project business processes plus solutions. In addition, he/she works with customers as a key and influential member of their business planning teams to ensure the ongoing delivery of outcomes through SAP solutions and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

1. Manage SAP S/4HANA projects or programs within defined time, scope, quality, and cost constraints.
2. Assist the business unit during the opportunity creation phase through scoping assessments, resource estimation, project costing, proposal and statement of work generation, and customer and partner project team evaluation.
3. Support internal and external rollout projects related to service initiatives, product and technology releases, methodology rollouts, and cross-industry solution deliveries.
4. Identify opportunities to add value through SAP services by engaging with clients.
5. Manage project delivery expectations and relationships with clients, partners, and SAP business units.
6. Record and share project knowledge and experience with the professional services team.
7. Ensure proposal and statement of work documents are achievable and risks are addressed.
8. Consult with SAP personnel and external clients on implementation strategies.
9. Oversee partner-led implementations as a trusted advisor to partners, client project teams, and project sponsors.
10. Develop and implement risk management methods across all projects in collaboration with the Risk Manager.
11. Deliver project, risk review, and Q-Gate services.
12. Ensure SAP offers maximum value and satisfaction to clients by leveraging organizational capabilities and delivering consistent professional services.
13. Understand customer projects and the services pipeline to assess current and future business environments, and pursue personal development to enhance future opportunities.
