Job Description

Experienced SAP PM Functional Lead required to lead a flagship digital transformation initiative at a global industry leader in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Multi-year project offering 12 month rolling engagements. Excellent salary and compensation package including insurances, annual leave and air travel tickets. The role is open to international candidates willing to relocate and work on site in the United Arab Emirates.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reimagining and redesigning core maintenance process flows, with the objective of reducing manual steps and increasing system-driven automation through AI, IoT integrations, and intelligent workflows.

Key Deliverables:

1. Drive the transformation of SAP Plant Maintenance processes toward an autonomous, minimal-touch model.
2. Analyse current process flows and identify high-friction manual steps across work order management, maintenance planning, confirmations, and reporting.
3. Design and prototype future-state workflows leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities, Intelligent Asset Management (IAM), AI/ML tools, and predictive maintenance strategies.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and Data Science) to define business requirements, automation targets, and technical specifications.
5. Drive implementation of smart automation solutions such as IoT-triggered maintenance, self-healing work orders, and AI-assisted notifications and scheduling.
6. Establish KPIs and value realization metrics to monitor human-step reduction and operational benefits.
7. Provide guidance to developers and solution architects on enhancements, custom developments, and integration points.
8. Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards during the redesign of critical maintenance flows.
9. Drive training, change management, and adoption strategies to ensure sustainable transformation across the user base.

Key Experience Required:

1. 10+ years of SAP PM functional experience (ECC and/or S/4HANA) understanding the end to end process.
2. Proven experience leading business process transformation and automation projects.
3. Strong understanding of SAP BTP, Fiori apps, AI/ML integration, and IoT solutions.
4. Experience with process mining (eg, Signavio) and RPA tools (eg, Automation Anywhere) is a plus.
5. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
6. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
