SAP MDG Functional Consultant

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience and a proven track record in implementing and managing SAP MDG solutions. This role requires expertise in MDG Article Models, experience in leading design workshops, and hands-on involvement in conversion processes from legacy systems. Familiarity with Utopia solutions within the SAP MDG ecosystem is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implementation:
   Serve as the MDG Article Expert for projects, specializing in relevant SAP article models such as Generic/Variant, BOM, Displays, Single Articles, and more.
2. Lead design workshops:
   Gather requirements, document business processes, and ensure alignment with best practices.
3. Business Process Documentation:
   Develop and deliver detailed Business Process Design Documents (BPDD) that align with client needs and project goals.
4. Legacy System Conversion:
   Spearhead the migration of master data from legacy systems into SAP MDG, ensuring data accuracy and consistency throughout the process.
5. Utopia Integration:
   Leverage expertise in Utopia solutions to enhance SAP MDG functionalities, ensuring seamless integration and optimized performance.
6. Client Collaboration:
   Act as a trusted advisor for clients, providing insights and recommendations to improve master data governance strategies.
7. Project Leadership:
   Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in SAP, with at least 2 projects as an MDG Article Expert.
2. Implementation experience in BP, MM, Data Modelling, UI modelling, BRF+, and UI Modelling.
3. Experience in handling Workshop / POC sessions with Business.
4. MDG RFM or Retail experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong understanding of SAP Article Models: Generic/Variant, BOM, Displays, Single Articles, etc.
2. Good understanding of ABAP/MDG Technical skills.
3. Proficient in data migration and conversion from legacy systems to SAP MDG.

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent communication and leadership skills to conduct workshops and liaise with stakeholders.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data governance challenges.
3. Able to work independently.
