Job summary

Client of Discovered MENA in Dubai seeks an experienced SAP FICO leader to drive the finance transformation, moving from Oracle EBS to SAP S/4HANA and redesigning core finance processes across a multi-entity Dubai-based holding group.

You will own the design and configuration of FI/CO areas, lead onshore/offshore delivery teams, and ensure alignment with fit-to-standard principles while partnering with senior finance leadership.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years' experience across SAP FICO.
• Strong experience leading functional architecture across full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Direct experience migrating complex enterprise environments from legacy ERP platforms into SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep knowledge of core finance processes, Chart of Accounts and master data design.
• Strong understanding of UAE tax requirements, multi-currency environments and real estate or lease accounting.
• Experience leading delivery teams and working with external system integrators.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work directly with senior finance leadership.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or a related field. CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and configuration of core FI/CO areas including Universal Journal, AR, Cash Management, FSCM and RE-FX lease accounting.
• Own migration from Oracle EBS to SAP, shaping COA, master data and broad finance process design.
• Lead hybrid onshore and offshore delivery teams and coordinate with external system integrators.
• Act as the main functional link between technical delivery teams and senior finance stakeholders.
• Drive user adoption, change management and standardized finance processes across multiple entities.

This is a key finance transformation role within a major Dubai-based holding group with ownership of the SAP FICO workstream across a complex multi-entity environment You ll play a central role in moving the business from Oracle EBS to SAP S 4HANA reworking core finance processes shaping the target design and making sure the new platform works properly across the wider group This is a hands-on leadership role combining deep SAP FICO expertise with delivery ownership stakeholder management and functional architecture You ll lead the design and configuration of core FI CO areas including Universal Journal Accounts Receivable Cash Management FSCM and RE-FX lease accounting A big part of the role will be owning the migration from Oracle EBS to SAP helping shape areas such as Chart of Accounts master data and wider finance process design while keeping the programme aligned to fit-to-standard principles You ll also lead hybrid onshore and offshore teams work closely with external system integrators and act as the main functional link between technical delivery teams and senior finance stakeholders Beyond implementation you ll help drive user adoption change management and consistent finance processes across multiple operating entities
