Job summary

Forsyth Barnes is supporting a major UAE-based client in Dubai looking for an experienced SAP IAM / Security SME to join a large-scale ERP transformation programme. The role is a 6-month contract, based in the UAE, with short notice availability.

You will bring hands-on SAP IAM expertise including IAG, IAS and IPS, strong role design and governance skills, and the ability to engage with both business and IT stakeholders across SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP role and authorisation design experience across complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IAG, IAS and IPS.
• Experience integrating SAP IAM solutions across SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, including Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes.
• Experience with role design, remediation, rationalisation and governance.
• Experience with access governance, PAM/firefighter processes, access certification and audit requirements.
• Exposure to large-scale SAP transformation, go‑live, hypercare or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP IAM security SME on ERP transformation programme.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders across SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Support go-live and hypercare phases in the transformation project.

Job description

I'm currently supporting a major organisation in Dubai that is looking for an experienced SAP IAM / Security SME to join a large-scale ERP transformation programme.

This is an initial 6-month contract and we are looking for someone who is currently based in the UAE and available to join at short notice.

Key experience:

• Strong SAP role and authorisation design experience across complex enterprise environments
• Hands‑on experience with SAP IAG, IAS and IPS
• Experience integrating SAP IAM solutions across SAP and non‑SAP systems
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, including Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes
• Experience with role design, remediation, rationalisation and governance
• Experience with access governance, PAM/firefighter processes, access certification and audit requirements
• Exposure to large-scale SAP transformation, go‑live, hypercare or production environments
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with both business and IT stakeholders

Experience across environments such as S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, BW/4HANA, SAC, Datasphere, Ariba, CAR and BTP would be highly beneficial.
