Etihad Airways is transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP S / 4HANA, integrating SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). To ensure high-quality implementation, we seek a senior SAP BTP full stack developer to develop and support the SAP products in line with the best practices and standards set by Software Engineering.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design and development of applications in SAP BTP, including Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), SAP Fiori / UI5, SAP Build, and third-party tools like OpenText.
- Deliver and support capabilities, provide guidance, and offer technical assistance to customers.
- Perform peer solution reviews, providing feedback and recommendations to improve team quality.
- Work within an agile development team to analyze and decompose stories into manageable tasks.
- Collaborate closely with business users, finance, and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
- Communicate effectively throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Manage the end-to-end process for requirements gathering, ensuring stakeholder needs are met while balancing technical constraints.
- Oversee testing phases, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Develop test scripts, conduct workshops, and coordinate validation activities.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of SAP development experience, including leading SAP development teams through the SDLC lifecycle. Hands-on expertise with SAP S / 4HANA, testing, and integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. SAP certifications related to SAP S / 4HANA, SAP BTP, or SAP Development are desirable.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Hybrid methodologies for SAP delivery.
- Experience in developing and executing test scripts and cases for large projects.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native deployment.
