Job summary

Gill Smart Group in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a skilled SAP Accountant to join our finance team. You will manage daily SAP ERP transactions, handle AP/AR/GL, and support monthly closings while ensuring VAT compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3–4 years UAE experience, with hands-on SAP ERP expertise and strong Excel skills. You will coordinate with auditors and internal departments to maintain accurate financial records and transparent reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (SAP S/4HANA or ECC).
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in SAP ERP.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Verify and maintain accounting master data.
• Process supplier/customer invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Assist with VAT calculations, VAT return preparation, and UAE VAT compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and auditors.

POSITION: SAP ACCOUNTANT. Location: Dubai, UAE. Salary: AED 5,000 – 6,000 per month (Male Candidates only).
