As an established leader in Drive Technology and Automation, they deliver high-performance systems tailored for industries such as airport baggage handling, transportation and logistics, and the beverage and liquids sector. About the Role: As a Sales Technical Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between engineering and commercial functions. You will provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal sales teams, assisting with the design, development, and implementation of drive and automation solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the technical liaison between the sales team and engineering departments. • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for drive systems and automation products. • Design and propose tailored solutions for client-specific applications across various industries. • Support system integration and product commissioning at customer sites as required. • Interpret customer specifications and requirements to recommend suitable products. • Assist in the development and delivery of product training for clients and internal staff. • Collaborate with engineering and R&D to feedback on customer needs and potential product improvements. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings.

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent). • 2+ years of experience in technical support, applications engineering, or related roles in industrial automation. • Strong knowledge of drive technology, automation systems, and motion control. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to interpret technical documentation and customer specifications. • Experience working in sectors such as airport logistics, transport, or the beverage industry is an asset. • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus. • Willingness to travel for client support and training (as needed).
