Job description

PipeCare Group [UAE] is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Support Lead [Salesforce software expert].

With over 20 years of providing technology and service-focused solutions to the oil and gas industry, PipeCare Group helps customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets.

Position Summary:

The Sales Support Lead [Salesforce software expert] will develop innovative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations, with a strong customer focus and outstanding sales skills.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities:
  • Analyze current sales procedures to identify inefficiencies.
  • Implement Salesforce tools to streamline processes, provide training, and optimize sales workflows, ensuring high-quality data input.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Territory Director to develop and execute sales improvement strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to the sales team on Salesforce processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate KPIs to measure success of changes.
  • Document and track all client inquiries.
  • Ensure proper assignment of inquiries to project numbers and obtain bid approval.
  • Review cost estimates, technical proposals, and submit to Sales Director.
  • Prepare technical proposals for strategic projects.
  • Review bid bond requirements and coordinate with departments during bidding stages.
  • Coordinate logistics for mobilization/demobilization and ensure site surveys are conducted when appropriate.
  • Update customer information and manage sales flow chart activities.
  • Prepare cost estimate reports and provide reports to VP, country manager, and sales director.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports and ensure timely communication of inquiries.
  • Ensure timely response to inquiries and complete bid submissions before deadlines.
  • Manage project transfers within 2 days of client confirmation.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Review technical and commercial proposals before release.
  • Distribute inquiries evenly within the technical sales team and escalate approval delays.
  • Assist Business Development Managers with commercial matters.
  • Monitor global e-tender portals for new tenders.
Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Engineering or equivalent with sound commercial skills; MBA preferred.
  • Additional qualifications or courses in commercial activities.
  • Proficiency in English; other languages advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid computer skills and technical knowledge of ILI products and industry standards.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial and technical tender preparation, preferably in Oil & Gas sector.
  • Strong selling capability and knowledge of commercial aspects.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform mobility tasks in industrial environments.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Willingness to wear safety equipment and perform duties in various environments.
