Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

Accountable and responsible for the achievement of sales target, sales team productivity and

sales expenditure in order to achieve the division objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for achievement of the top line sales targets as per the budget.
  • Responsible for controlling the Trade Expenditure as per the budget.
  • Lead field-forecasting efforts to ensure that accurate forecasts are completed on timely basis
  • Responsible for ensuring collection from customers to avoid overdue receivables
  • Responsible for ensuring the proper listing of new product ranges in order to ensure the launch and activation of products.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper product visibility across retailers in order to maximize sales potential of the product range.
  • Responsible for ensuring the liquidation of stock ageing product in order to improve the Working Capital of the Division.
  • Identify deficiencies in in skills among sales executives and work to improve individuals’ capabilities through coaching, development and training to ensure team is prepared to achieve individual and divisional objectives.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
  • 4 plus years experience in sales management in FMCG industry
