The Sales specialist supports maintenance and modernization sales persons by creating and qualifying leads for them. The purpose of the role is to take care of customers by phone and ensure that we respond to their requirements and contact them proactively.

Responsibilities and key activities

Create opportunities

  • Creates, qualifies, and communicates leads and sales opportunities for the entire KONE sales team (e.g., cross-selling)
  • Responsible for making courtesy calls
  • Ensures successful conversions with existing and new maintenance customers
  • Responsible for gathering relevant information about the market and competitors while interacting with customers

Contract cancellation prevention

  • Responds and resolves cancellation risks
  • Monitors and resolves suspended contracts if any

Complaint and query handling

  • Solves complaints with the rest of the KONE team
  • Handles queries
  • Supports the finance function in money collection

Support sales people

  • Qualifies leads and plans and schedules visits for the sales team

Data quality and communications to ensure customer experience

  • Monitors the leads and new opportunities in CRM and assigns them to the right person
  • Follows up with customers not visited; calls and identifies the level of satisfaction and opportunity
  • Documents customer and contact information and maintains customer data
  • Updates CRM according to the communication of the sales team on outcomes of the meetings.

Are you the one

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on administration tasks.
  • Ability to handle and meet multiple deadlines and coordinate priorities accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) with SAP and CRM experience advantageous.
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written. Arabic is an added advantage.
