Qualifications

  • 8-10 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie pétrolière et gazière avec au moins 5 ans d'expérience en vente front-end.
  • Connaissance des termes commerciaux et juridiques, et gestion des risques de projet.
  • Anglais avancé requis; l'arabe est un plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diriger les ventes dans le segment pétrolier et gazier, développer des plans stratégiques et augmenter la part de marché.
  • Créer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de soutien à la vente.
  • Surveiller l'activité des concurrents et gérer les coûts.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Specialist– Oil & Gas, you will be leading the country sales for Oil & Gas (O&G) segment in driving revenue, developing, and implementing effective strategic plans, increasing market share, building & maintaining relationships with a focused drive towards business profitability. This role is based in Dubai, UAE. Reporting to the Head of EPC Channel Sales, you will be building & maintaining good working relationships with extended stakeholders to identify and work on sales opportunities and drive them to closure.

  • Creating, implementing, and reviewing sales support strategies ensuring high say-do and high hit-rate to deliver on plan.
  • Driving the O&G sales strategy in collaboration with the Business Line team. Understanding the key business drivers of the relevant customer’s business and environment, and interpreting the impact and opportunity for ABB.
  • Identifying and mapping potential key players/decision makers and planning to engage, working closely with ADNOC through all its subsidiaries.
  • Monitoring competitor activity within the segment and formulating appropriate response strategies.
  • Managing costs, achieving sales volume and product mix targets, setting pricing and margins, and participating in key contract negotiations.
  • Identifying and managing potential risks related to contracts, monitoring customer financial status, and reporting risks internally.
  • Ensuring effective marketing communication and customer relationship building, supporting development of strong relationships with key customers and decision makers.
  • Following business governance and control guidelines, leading the approval process for large bids as per procedures.

Qualifications for the Role
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry with at least 5 years of front-end sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; fields of study in Electrical Engineering or MBA are a plus.
  • Knowledge of commercial and legal terms and project risk management.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong influencing, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. Good understanding of market demand, customer budgeting, and purchasing behaviors.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
