Job description

The Sales Representative - Animal Health plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the animal health industry. This role focuses on promoting a range of high-quality animal care products and services, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the animal care market, excellent sales acumen, and a passion for enhancing animal health and welfare.

  • Visit assigned pharmacies as per the daily visit plan.
  • Book all shortages required for pharmacies and introduce new items.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and provide feedback to management.
  • Plan, execute, and implement the customer visit plan to cover all customers per month.
  • Develop new customers and be proactive in adding new clients.
  • Meet targets and distribution goals set for the area.
  • List new products.

Collection

  • Collect all payments on time as per company policy and clear all outstanding dues from customers.

Skills & Professional Requirements :

  • Knowledge of outlet locations and routes.
  • Understanding of customer creditworthiness.
  • Knowledge of consumer products, industry trends, and key competitors in the designated geography.
  • Knowledge of general trade practices.
  • Language skills – should be fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic and Hindi is desirable.
  • Valid UAE driving license with a car is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in sales, particularly in the animal care, veterinary, or pharmaceutical industries.

Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships.

Additional Information

Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend events.
