Job Description

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of success selling cloud services. Be able to comprehend and articulate core cloud principles (storage, networking, security, DR, etc.) to customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders. Demonstrate the ability to communicate the Oracle Cloud Value Proposition including the technical strategy of Gen 2. Understanding of cloud business drivers and how to position OCI's competitive advantage. Be intellectually curious and passionate about MySQL, Cloud Services, and able to quickly uncover customer business pains.

Qualified candidates have +3 years of experience successfully selling cloud services to organizations ranging from SMBs to Fortune 100.

Job Requirements:
  • Spend 50%+ of weekly time prospecting for new business
  • Forecast, manage, and close 50-60 workloads annually using Oracle Sales Cloud
  • Identify and collaborate with key internal stakeholders in the territory (Tech Managers, Tech SCs, Partners, MySQL SCs, etc.)
  • Engage with customer stakeholders to promote MDS/HW to developers and decision makers
  • Operate as part of a large account team; collaboration is essential
  • Utilize key ORCL Sales Tools effectively (Territory and Market Intelligence, Eloqua, Datafox/ZoomInfo, Sales Cloud, LinkedIn)
  • Develop and execute a territory plan, updating it routinely
  • Present quarterly business reviews to management
  • Conduct effective discovery calls
  • Deliver a compelling 3-minute "elevator pitch" focused on ORCL Cloud + MDS/HW
