The Sales Officer Personal Finance is responsible for promoting and selling personal finance products such as personal loans, credit cards, and other retail banking solutions to individual clients. Operating within the UAE's highly regulated banking environment, this role involves direct client engagement, lead generation, and relationship building to meet sales targets while ensuring full compliance with Central Bank of the UAE regulations and internal credit policies.
Responsibilities:
Identifying and approaching potential customers to promote and sell personal finance products, including loans and credit cards.
Conducting financial needs analysis to offer appropriate solutions aligned with customer profiles and eligibility.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support repeat business and referrals.
Collecting and verifying customer documents in accordance with KYC and AML guidelines.
Coordinating with credit and operations teams to ensure timely processing of applications.
Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets while maintaining high service standards.
Keeping updated on new banking products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
Ensuring full adherence to Central Bank of the UAE regulations and internal compliance protocols.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in personal banking sales or financial product promotion, preferably in the UAE.
Sound understanding of retail banking products and credit evaluation criteria.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic and other regional languages are an advantage.
