Job Description
- Plan and execute merchandising strategies that optimize sales and profitability.
- Conduct regular store visits to analyze product placement and ensure compliance with merchandising standards and promotional displays.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and tailor product assortments that drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Gather feedback from customers and store managers to identify areas for improvement in product displays and placements.
- Monitor and maintain correct stock levels.
- Comply with company standards and guidelines for merchandising.
- Conduct competitor analysis to stay informed on industry practices and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
- Resolve customer complaints related to product quality and availability.
- Monitor slow-moving products and take actions such as reducing prices or setting promotions as needed.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with store management and staff to foster a collaborative environment focused on sales growth.
- Prepare reports on merchandising activities and present them to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 1 year UAE experience in retail merchandising or sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales growth.
- Experience in the consumer goods or retail industry is highly desirable, providing relevant knowledge of market dynamics.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is essential. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage in diverse markets.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in merchandising strategies can set candidates apart in a competitive environment.
