Job Purpose: Assists the Country Manager in managing the country's Specialist Products and Services business to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Collaborate with the Country Manager to drive business development strategies through customer engagement and competitor analysis. Identify and evaluate new technologies, applications or markets for product diversification and value enhancement in alignment with long-term business objectives.
- Customer Solutions and Support: Lead initiatives for on-site customer solutions by designing innovative approaches to meet client needs. Prepare pre and post technical service and support, ensuring competitive and technical knowledge of product properties and applications. Troubleshoot customer issues and deliver subject matter expertise to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Sales and Business Reporting: Manage and coordinate accurate and timely business development and sales reports to support informed decision-making.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with other O&G products and service companies to enhance product quality and delivery efficiency.
- Product Accreditation and Compliance: Drive product accreditation and certification processes by engaging with authorities and end users. Ensure compliance with industry standards to achieve successful accreditation and certifications.
- Technical Evaluation and Advisory: Provide technical advice for business opportunities and development projects, participating in techno-commercial evaluations to assess technical viability. Act as a technical advisor to identify solutions to assists customers, creating value and drive growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Identify new customers and strengthen collaboration with key accounts. Leverage strong relationships and industry insights to drive client satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth.
- Pricing Strategy and Market Analysis: Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to optimize profitability. Conduct market scenario analysis to recommend competitive product pricing in alignment with the sales and marketing strategy.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of proven experiences in sales, marketing, or business development within the oil and gas or related industries.
- Strong technical understanding of product properties, applications, and market trends.
- Demonstrated ability to lead customer-centric initiatives and provide technical solutions.
