Job Title: Sales & Marketing Engineer (Outside)

Functional Area: Sales & Marketing

Location: JAFZA Dubai UAE

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager

Position Objective:

To understand the technical aspects of the products and services offered by the company and provide technical support to customers addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role.
  2. Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical or relevant field.
  3. Good knowledge of technical products and services.
  4. Ability to build customer relationships.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand the details of products and services offered by the company.
  2. Work closely with the inside sales team to propose suitable technical solutions.
  3. Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular contacts to identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities.
  4. Adhere to all quality standards and processes for the acquisition of customer opportunities and submission of contract documents.
  5. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients.
  6. Communicate and collaborate with the engineering team to customize products and services based on customer requirements.
  7. Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and technical documents for sales pitches.
  8. Provide post-sales support to customers.
  9. Identify new sales opportunities.
  10. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.

Authority: Identify potential customers and collaborate with the internal team to understand possibilities of product customization.
