Job Description
About the Role : The Member selected for this position will be part of the Steam System Division. This is a field-oriented, team-based role that involves engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The Member will be required to travel across various regions within the UAE to support business development activities and foster strong customer relationships. The role also includes close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in project execution and to uphold both company standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct plant visits and site surveys to understand customer requirements and identify opportunities to enhance thermal efficiency and reduce energy consumption using steam engineering solutions.
- Interact with clients across a range of process industries, including but not limited to manufacturing, food processing, healthcare, and other sectors where steam plays an essential operational role.
- Recommend suitable technical solutions aligned with industry standards and good engineering practices, while keeping customer needs and efficiency goals in focus.
- Present the value proposition of steam-related products and systems such as steam traps, condensate recovery systems, hot water generators, control valves, steam flow meters, and other thermal energy solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports post-site visit covering aspects like steam trap selection, condensate management, leak detection, and system optimization, along with proposals outlining savings potential and payback analysis.
- Maintain and update relevant industrial databases while assessing the existing setup of steam generation, distribution, process utilities, and condensate recovery systems.
- Develop and submit techno-commercial proposals based on customer requirements and provide necessary support to convert these into viable business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits, with a target of engaging 8 10 clients per week to strengthen relationships and explore new business avenues.
- Generate 4 6 customized offers per week, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to support sales conversion.
- Be comfortable with frequent travel, approximately 4 5 days per week, to visit client sites and support field activities across the region.

Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 2 to 8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial or process engineering environments.
- Industry Exposure: Prior experience or familiarity with the oil and gas sector either through direct industry involvement, handling of relevant process equipment, or working with clients in oil and gas will be considered a strong advantage.
- Technical Understanding: Sound understanding of manufacturing or industrial setups, especially those involving thermal systems, utilities, or process operations.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to understand customer requirements and propose commercially and technically viable solutions.
- Additional Attributes: A proactive mindset, openness to fieldwork, and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role.
