NES Fircroft Permanent Recruitment is looking for a Sales and Market Intelligence Analyst based in Dubai.

Executive Summary

Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and transforming market and CRM/ERP data into strategic insights to support client global sales and business development activities. This role will play a key part in identifying commercial opportunities, understanding industry trends, and providing decision-making support to sales leadership through reports, dashboards, and presentations. Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and pipeline-related projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze CRM data to track sales performance, customer behavior, and opportunity pipeline.
  • Collect and interpret market intelligence, competitor movements, and trends in the O&G sector.
  • Support the preparation of regional and global sales forecasts, strategic plans, and business reviews.
  • Build visual dashboards and reports (Power BI, Excel) to provide commercial and operational insights.
  • Identify key sales performance drivers and opportunities for revenue growth across client’s markets and materials.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations combining internal data and market insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with regional sales, marketing, and product teams to define and refine commercial KPIs.
  • Monitor and report on developments in global pipeline projects and energy market dynamics.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations to optimize pricing, product mix, and go-to-market strategies.
Technical Requirements & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is required.
  • Desirable: Postgraduate degree or certifications in Market Intelligence, Business Analytics, or Sales Strategy.
  • Additional languages - Portuguese or others are a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Solid academic foundation in quantitative analysis, commercial strategy, and industrial markets is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, charts)
  • Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation
  • PowerPoint for executive presentations and data storytelling
  • Introduction to Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
  • CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) – navigation, data extraction and reporting
  • ERP systems (e.g., SAP) – basic understanding of business processes
  • Data Cleaning & Transformation techniques
  • Fundamentals of SQL (desirable)
  • Courses in Statistics, Data Interpretation or Decision-Making Models
  • Training in Data Privacy & Governance (desirable in global environments)
  • 5 years of experience in sales analysis, commercial intelligence, or business strategy – preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial sectors.
  • Experience working in or with market research firms is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic commercial insights
  • Experience working with CRM or ERP systems and creating dashboards or executive reports will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Data interpretation and storytelling- translating complex datasets into actionable business insights.
  • Attention to detail - strong data accuracy and validation mindset
  • Data quality awareness – understanding of data consistency, governance, and traceability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - with a sales and operational mindset
  • Collaboration in multicultural environments teamwork with remote and global stakeholders
