Job description

A Specialist Professional is a recognized subject matter expert in a specific job area, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities include managing large projects or processes with limited oversight, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals. Problems faced are often difficult and complex.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Developing & implementing sales strategies and business development initiatives aligned with global sales strategy.
  • Achieving sales targets related to budgets and sales efficiency, supporting, maintaining, and growing existing accounts.
  • Developing customer relationships within Saudi Arabia to acquire new customers and generate recurring revenue, partnering with other Hitachi Energy sales organizations to build pipeline and increase brand presence.
  • Ensuring sales achievement through regular oversight, defining, and implementing improvement plans. Developing an organized pipeline targeting prospects in identified segments and territories.
  • Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers, planning for acquisition, and allocating resources. Providing market feedback and participating in training to stay updated on go-to-market strategies. Offering feedback on trade events and marketing needs.
  • Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers. Ensuring effective marketing communications.
  • Taking ownership of sales processes, training, and development plans. Collaborating with Sales Engineering to address technical customer needs, coordinating efforts with operational units and the extended sales team. Providing feedback to Product Management on customer and partner requirements.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
