Job Description

Industry / Organization Type : Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Location : Dubai

Salary Package : Basic Salary + Phone Allowance + Comm + AWS + Variable Bonus

Duration : Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and prospect new business / clients via cold-calling and sales activities.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to encourage up-selling and retention.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Minimum Requirements :

Experience : Minimum 2 years’ experience in handling air or sea freight

Desired Skills :

  • Must have his / her own book of business.
  • Performance in import business from Europe, USA and India.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
  • Quote formal and spot bids.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.
  • Communicate customer problems to management.
  • Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes.
  • Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

Experience Requirements :

  • 2+ Years of experience in Shipping industry
