Job Summary : A results-driven sales professional responsible for driving demand generation and business development of CHINT low voltage solutions through projects. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, executing strategic project-based sales plans, and building strong relationships with clients including panel builders, contractors, consultants, and end-users. The position also entails providing accurate sales forecasting, market intelligence, and ensuring compliance with company standards to support sustainable growth and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do

  • Demand Generation & Business Development : Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities to generate demand for CHINT low voltage solutions across various project segments towards the panel builder channel by providing the required support to ensure a high hit rate.
  • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including panel builders, contractors, consultants, and end-users, to ensure sustained business growth and customer loyalty.
  • Project Sales Strategy : Develop and execute tailored sales strategies focused on projects, ensuring alignment with overall sales goals and customer needs. Meet and exceed project sales targets and revenue objectives set by the company.
  • Technical Consultation & Solution Selling : Work closely with technical teams to offer value-added solutions to customers, providing technical guidance and support to maximize customer satisfaction and secure project commitments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, marketing) to ensure seamless project execution and to address customer requirements effectively.
  • Market Analysis & Intelligence : Conduct regular market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs, feeding insights into product positioning and project approach.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting : Provide accurate sales forecasts, track sales activities, and report on progress against targets. Utilize CRM tools to maintain a comprehensive record of all project-related interactions.
  • Contract Negotiation & Closing : Negotiate contracts with stakeholders, manage commercial aspects of deals, and ensure timely and successful project closure.
  • Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and relevant industry standards, with a focus on minimizing risk and maximizing profitability.
  • Performance Metrics : Set and achieve individual and team sales targets, consistently monitor KPIs, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize sales performance.
