Motivate Media is the oldest and largest book publisher in the UAE, and we are seeking a talented Sales Manager to join our team of book publishing and art gallery experts.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing book sales and revenue through our online art gallery, The Arabian Gallery. The ideal candidate should possess an entrepreneurial mindset for generating new business and a talent for storytelling to promote our books and artists to the UAE's citizens and residents.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in initiating, negotiating, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate Books
- Increase bulk sales of books and prints to corporate and government sectors in the UAE.
- Utilize AI tools to identify potential new customers.
- Develop new customer relationships in the private and public sectors.
- Follow up on leads with sales calls and meetings, maintaining relationships for future sales.
- Manage monthly and annual sales revenue budgets for bulk orders.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to produce sales materials supporting bulk sales pitches.
- Plan targeted sales campaigns for new book releases.
- Coordinate with magazine teams to fulfill bulk orders.
- Identify new corporate clients through various channels for bulk sales.
- Notify clients about new publications, promotions, and offers.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection, liaising with credit control.
- Oversee order delivery and stock levels, coordinating with warehousing.
- Produce monthly sales reports and update the CRM system (Salesforce).
- The Arabian Gallery
- Achieve revenue targets and enhance visibility of represented artists.
- Seek collaborations with art galleries, fairs, and other partners to maximize sales.
- Attend art events to network and generate leads.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the gallery’s inventory and grow the customer database.
- Respond to customer inquiries via the website and manage client relationships.
- Organize exhibits and art installations, maintaining artist and client relationships.
- Update acquisition catalogs, sales records, and client databases.
- Handle administrative, accounts, and marketing tasks.
- Ensure prompt processing and delivery of customer orders, with accurate record-keeping in Salesforce.
- Ensure timely payments from clients and artists.
