Job description

A highly motivated and result-oriented Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue through our bespoke product Metlux, which currently caters to the perfume industry and will soon be widening its target audience. S/He should have a strong understanding of B2B sales, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in the perfume industry.

Key Accountabilities (Includes but not limited to the following):

  1. Identifying new clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  2. Developing and maintaining a pipeline of potential leads.
  3. Conducting presentations and managing meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Customizing sales pitches to address the specific needs and requirements of each client.
  5. Building and nurturing strong relationships with existing clients for customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  6. Responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional manner.
  7. Preparing and sharing regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
  8. Meeting/exceeding the monthly and quarterly assigned sales targets.
  9. Staying up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  10. Identifying opportunities for product improvements/development based on regular feedback from clients.
  11. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to execute sales strategies effectively.
  12. Sharing insights and best practices with team members to enhance overall sales performance.
  13. Regularly staying updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales techniques through training sessions and self-study.

KPI's, Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competencies:

Skillsets:

  1. Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  4. Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and drive to succeed.
  5. Proven track record as a Sales Executive/Manager or similar role, preferably in the perfume or perfume packaging industry.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to multitask and lead discussions across multiple areas within the department and the company.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events & exhibitions.
  9. Fluent in English and Arabic/more languages.
  10. Valid UAE driver's license.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Experience:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in sales with a minimum of one year experience in B2B sales.
  2. Extensive experience in dealing professionally with key decision makers and following the top-down approach.
